Les missions du poste
Imagine an innovation center where every day, human ingenuity meets nature to design tomorrow's biosolutions for AgriFood. At Eléphant Vert, our mission is to develop sustainable solutions that protect and stimulate crops while respecting the fragile equilibrium of ecosystems.
The position is based at Elephant Vert's R&D Innovation Center Lipofabrik at Lesquin. We are looking for a passionate R&D engineer, ready to explore the complex but fascinating interactions between plants, pests and diseases and the mode of action of novel biosolutions, so to unlock the full potential of our active substances.

You will be immersed in the development of new biosolutions. You will design and organize trials both in controlled conditions and in field, mainly through collaborations with Institutes and CRO's. Every experiment you conduct, every analysis you perform, will contribute to a better understanding of how our future products will interact with crops in their natural environment and under real farmer practice, so we develop solutions that fit farming systems and deliver predictable outcomes.
At our Innovation Center in Lesquin, you will investigate the modes of action of candidate active substances and select or develop the most relevant evaluation methods ensuring they reflect real-life conditions. Your work will help to de-risk and to accelerate the transition from laboratory testing to field application. In close collaboration with the formulation team, you will help optimize our solutions by assessing their consistent performance and crop safety. You will also act as a key link between research and field, working with the Agronomic Development Manager to ensure optimal conditions for the first field trial evaluations.
Beyond experimentation, you will be a true driver of innovation. You will maintain a scientific and technical watch to stay at the forefront of sector advancements. You create intellectual property options, protect the invention and maintain freedom to operate. You will analyse, interpret and shareyour results with our internal teams, partners, and when appropriate with the scientific community, thus contributing to the global recognition of our expertise.
For some projects with significant involvment, you may be eligible to take the Project Lead role, ensuring that milestones and objectives are met.
